Mission Partnerships:
Disciples. On mission together. To make disciples of all nations.
Lema Vehicle Project Ecuador
John and Jissell Lema serve full-time in Esmeraldas, Ecuador. John also has a heart for the youth in the area. The Lemas are reaching the youth for Christ with weekly Bible Studies, teaching English, and holding special youth retreats. John is currently working with four youth groups in different local churches, and he needs to travel to many different communities as he serves the Lord.
The Lemas do not have a vehicle. Last year, John received his Drivers’ License. He completed the training, and he is trusting the Lord for a vehicle.
Our goal is to raise $8000 so that John and Jissell can purchase a reliable vehicle. They are praying for one large enough to transport young people to various events and youth activities. Will you partner with us and with John and Jissell as they teach and disciple the Afro-Ecuadorian youth in Esmeraldas, Ecuador?
Here's just a small sampling of how partners from different cultures and contexts work together for the gospel.
Resources
Through giving and sharing resources, we can help with the ongoing work of field missionaries and provide for needs in the communities they serve.
Collaboration
Collaboration is not only with mission partners in another culture but can be done with other local churches as well. Through strategic planning and pooling resources, we participate together in the gospel.
Strategic Sending
Mission trips should be strategic. By sending teams to serve alongside long-term mission partners in this way, we are cultivating cross-cultural relationships to make disciples together.
